Please Mum is inviting all Canadian children to show their pride for the nation by designing their very own T-shirt. From March 16th through April 12th, kids can visit any Please Mum location to create an illustration that conveys their love for Canada. One T-shirt design will then be selected, produced, and available for purchase at all Please Mum locations on Canada Day 2009!
Proceeds from sales of the Proud to be Canadian! T-shirt will go to the Please Mum Foundation’s Funds for Fun! providing direct financial support to Canadian schools in need of funding for school facilities and safe, fun extracurricular activities for students kindergarten through grade 8. www.pleasemum.com/tshirt-contest

NKPR and SKYY Vodka recently hosted a one-on-one cocktail sampling event for the media in celebration of the upcoming release of Alliance Film’s “he’s just not that into you,” on February 6th, 2009. SKYY unveiled two new cocktails inspired by the movie — one sweet, one sour — both appropriately named “he’s into you,” and “he’s just not that into you,” to mirror the ins and outs, ups and downs and goods and bads of finding true love.
Guests enjoyed the mixing talents of SKYY bartender, Matt Jones, chose their favorite sips, and were treated to a tarot card reading to find out what their romantic future has in store…
SKYY Vodka is produced with a unique four-column distillation and triple-filtration process, as well as a reverse-osmosis process to create a smooth, clean taste. We had the amazing job of managing the nationwide search and finale of Ford Models Supermodel of the World Canada. We saw thousands of girls from Vancouver to Halifax with the hope of realizing their dreams of becoming supermodels. It was crazy, fun, exciting and OTT. We loved every minute of it! The winner was Toronto native Shelby Furber who will represent Canada in the Ford Models Supermodel of the World competition in January 2009. She also recently stomped the catwalk for none other than Monsieur Karl Lagerfeld in the Chanel Resort show.
