At NKPR, you know we’re suckers for a red carpet! And when the majority of the looks on the red carpet are in line with our #nkallblackeverything aesthetic? Even better! Last night, the stars stepped out for the MTV Movie Awards in Hollywood. From chic lace detailing to power-girl pantsuits to jumpsuits straight off the fall runway, we round up our picks for MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed! Who do you think nailed the all-black look?

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain always looks polished and put together on the red carpet, and last night was no exception! The actress stunned in a chic Givenchy gown and loose, Old-Hollywood waves.

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed Cara Delevingne

One of Natasha’s favourite looks from the Balmain FW16 runway, Cara Delevingne looks vampy in this fitted velvet jumpsuit. Her bold brows and dark lip tie the entire look together perfectly!

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed Kendall Jenner

Model and girl-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner looks stunning in a ruffled Kristian Aadnevik gown, but what we really want to discuss are those incredible lace-up sandals by DSQUARED2. #ShoeGoals at its finest. Kendall definitely takes it for look of the night!

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed Gigi Hadid

We love a good pantsuit on the red carpet! Sporting some new fringe, Gigi Hadid looks grown up in this chic Versace number.

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed Melissa McCarthy

Melissa McCarthy became the first woman to win the Best Comedic Genius Award at Sunday night’s awards. So inspiring, so well-deserved and she looked incredible doing it! Love her in this #allblackeverything look.

MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron, star of The Huntsman: Winter’s War looks anything but evil in this elegant Alexander McQueen dress. We love the lace design details!

57th Grammy Awards: Top Red Carpet Looks

Posted on

Music’s biggest night not only brought some epic performances (can we talk about Hozier and Annie Lennox?!), it also gave us some show-stopping fashion! Yesterday at the 57th Grammy Awards, we witnessed some impeccable outfits on the red carpet.

From the women, we saw a lot of black, some seriously sexy lace, and the most dramatic deep-v’s we’ve seen in a while. The men’s fashion didn’t disappoint either with trendy black-on-navy combos, dapper hats and accessories reminiscent of 50’s sophistication!

Although there was a fair share of “oh no’s” (we’re talking to you Lady Gaga and Rihanna!), there were certainly more “wow’s” on the red carpet!

Check out some of our favourite looks from last night…

Beyoncé in custom Proenza Schouler

Chrissy Teigen in Pucci

Gwen Stefani in Atelier Versace

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab

Jesse J in Ralph and Russo

Pharrell in Adidas (with wife Helen Lasichanh)

John Legend in Dolce & Gabbana

Sam Smith in Armani

Office Chatter: Award-Worthy Fashion

The fashion at the Oscars did not disappoint last night and the office was buzzing this morning… Here are some of our top picks for award-worthy looks from last night’s show!

Chris – Amy Adams
“Classic Old Hollywood glam and the perfect dress type to flaunt her flawless figure!”

Carly – Jennifer Aniston
“Go bold or go home! Valentino was the designer of the night, and Jennifer looks red hot in this number.”

Leah – Jennifer Aniston
“The colour and shape of the gown was FAB and when doesn’t she look amazing??”

Hayley – Naomi Watts
“She shimmered down the red carpet in a beautiful Armani Prive gown. The stylish and shimmery dress was perfect for the occasion and the fit showed off her incredible body! I also loved the interesting and modern should cut – so chic!”

Micah – George Clooney
“Because it’s George Clooney and normally I’m not a fan of facial hair but I will make an exception this one time, he looked like a total silver fox!”

Ania – Jennifer Garner
“The dress seemed simple at first glance but it had a dramatic ruffle all down the back, the colour was unique and it suited her perfectly.”

Destiny – Quenzhane Wallis
“Being the youngest person at the show, she walked the carpet in confidence and looked adorable in her blue gown. Not trying to be too grown up, pairing off the ensemble with a puppy purse was the icing on the cake.”

Lara – Zoe Saldana
Simply: “Her taste is always impeccable. Always.”

Jessica – Zoe Saldana
“Classy but not too safe.”

Lauren – Jennifer Lawrence
“Loved the simple draped necklace down her back. She didn’t overdo it, but she was gorgeous.”

Kristin – Jessica Chastain
“The colour was perfect for her skin tone and hair! One of the first to walk the carpet and she started the show off on the right note!”
