See 2018 in Ultra Violet!

Pantone recently released their annual Colour of the Year, Ultra Violet. You can sport this purple trend in the New Year with these great products!

Start things off with a fresh look with these beautiful beauty items: Lise Watier’s Rouge Intense Supreme lipstick in the shade SOPHIA ($27.00) and Annabelle’s Bigshow Matte Liquid Lipstick in Hypnotic ($9.95 CAD). These lipsticks have a gorgeous deep sultry colour that would look fantastic for all seasons!

DAVIDsTEA’s Magic Potion blend changes from indigo to violet if you squeeze a lemon into it (from $9.98)! This juicy blue raspberry tea is delicious (and pretty!) and perfectly represents the colour of the year. (Try it out at home to see!)

You don’t have to dye your hair to show some love for Ultra Violet. These products already rock an all purple everything look. Keep an eye out for OGX’s new Smoothing + Shea Sleek Humidity Blocking Hairspray, and Smoothing + Shea Sleek Smooth Style Spray ($10.99 CAD), hitting shelves in January!

With every new year comes a much-needed fresh start. From purging the songs we don’t listen to from our playlists to the much needed editing of our wardrobes, we’re finally getting around to starting anew in 2013. With the helpful eye of Pantone, this year is already looking lively, radiant, and lush (in their words!). Forecasting the colour of the year as emerald, Pantone, practically a global colour authority by now, has given us the perfect excuse to update out 2012 inventory of hues. Ushering a sense of harmony and well-being, emerald seems like the perfect choice for an exciting and balanced year. We’ve gathered some of our favourite items below!

New Year, New Colour

Happy New Year!

One of my favourite parts about starting a new year is checking out the emerging trends in fashion and beauty! In December, colour company Pantone named Tangerine Tango, a vibrant reddish orange as their 2012 Colour of the Year. We love this on-trend shade and have started to see the vivacious hue everywhere! Pantone calls the colour “sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive,” and we agree!

Want to add some Tangerine Tango to your life?
