MISSED THE ROYAL WEDDING?

Our office (and our clients!) have been obsessed with the Royal Wedding for weeks, so we put together a quick recap of some ways we’ve showed love for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day!

Windsor Arms Hotel in Bloor-Yorkville

On May 19th, bright and early at 6 AM, the Windsor Arms Hotel in Bloor-Yorkville hosted a Royal Breakfast for guests to view the wedding in luxury and comfort! Seated in the hotel’s stunning (and newly renovated) Courtyard Ballroom, they enjoyed a delicious luxe British breakfast prepared by the Windsor Arms’ executive and pastry chefs. Guests indulged in a curated selection of Windsor Arms loose leaf teas, assortment of scones and crumpies, traditional English bubble and squeak ,and even a Royal-inspired lemon elderflower wedding cake!

Links of London

Guests loved Links of London at the Royal Wedding! Her Majesty the Queen wore a beautiful assortment of pearls, including Links of London’s Effervescence White Large Pearl Stud Earrings and the Effervescence Star White Pearl Bracelet.

Kitty Spencer played it simple with an up-do that let the classic and elegant Diamond Essentials Pave Round Stud Earrings shine.

Amal Clooney was a showstopper with the Hope Egg Earrings in Silver and White Topaz to compliment her beautiful golden Stella McCartney dress.

Square One Shopping Centre

Square One created a fun tribute to some of Meghan’s most iconic fashion moments in the lead up to the Royal wedding, including the iconic Meghan Coat from LINE the Label that she wore for her engagement!

MEC

With it being hardly a week since their nuptials, we’re remembering all the sweet moments the couple shared since their first blind date! Just weeks after they met, Harry surprised Meghan with a safari camping trip to Maun, Botswana! *Swoons*
We’ve assembled a list of MEC must-haves so you can have your own romantic getaway camping trip this summer! This Wine Glass set is perfect for a night under the stars! No romantic night is complete without snuggling up with some cozy blankets and pillows- at around $20 you could get tons of these Camp Pillows to make your evening ultra- cozy. Lastly, you of course need the perfect tent! Try out this Cabin 6 Person Tent for a spacious romantic hideaway.

Afternoon Tea with Links of London

Enjoy Afternoon Tea with Links of London

Links of London recently introduced new charms to add to their stunning Afternoon Tea Collection! The charm additions include the adorable daisy, strawberry, cupcake, and sugar cube (which is made of solid-sterling silver, sprinkled with a generous helping of 216 sparkling pave diamonds)! To create the perfect Royal tea-inspired Sweetie Made-To-Order Bracelet, mix these in with the collection’s miniature British biscuit charm, and traditional teapot, cup and saucer charm!

To celebrate the new charms for their Afternoon Tea Collection, Links of London hosted guests for Afternoon Tea at the Windsor Arms Hotel in Bloor-Yorkville!

Tea Etiquette Expert, Lisa Orr, taught guests the differences between afternoon tea and high tea, and how the Royals enjoy theirs! (The Queen loves Earl Grey with a side of Chocolate biscuit cake).

Along with finger sandwiches and pastries, the afternoon featured a candy bar where guests could fill up their Links of London gift bags with their favourite British sweets.

Of course, the afternoon wasn’t complete without a Pop-up Made-To-Order Bracelet Bar! Each guest was complimented with a Links of London iconic Sweetie Made-To-Order Bracelet that they could customize with Afternoon Tea Charms of their choice! They also had the option to add an engraved Disc Charm and were given the chance to swap sterling silver rings with rose gold vermeil, yellow gold vermeil or rhodium rings for a bi-metal look.

NKPR REVIEW: WHAT NK’S WATCHING

NEED A NEW SHOW TO WATCH? HERE ARE MY RECOMMENDATIONS!

When I can get a few moments to relax at home, I love to catch up on some TV! I’ve put together a list of what I’ve been watching recently that I LOVE! Take a look and let me know what you’ve seen.

GRACE AND FRANKIE

I love just sitting in bed and binge-watching Grace and Frankie- it’s my go-to when I wake up on a Saturday morning!

THE FINAL YEAR

A high recommendation is this documentary that covers Obama’s last year in office. It’s truly fascinating and a must-watch!

MY NEXT GUEST NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION WITH DAVID LETTERMAN

If you’re looking for something different to watch on Netflix, try David Letterman’s interview series. I recently watched the episodes with President Barack Obama and George Clooney- they were fascinating!

THE CROWN

I’m finally all caught up on The Crown! I love seeing how they depict each member of the royal family (especially who they cast)!

TED TALK – THE SURPRISING INGREDIENT THAT MAKE BUSINESSES WORK BETTER

Finally, I have LOVED this Ted Talk from Marco Alverà. It’s all about FAIRNESS! My key takeaway is, if your compass was fairness, you would always make the right decision. (I think we could say the same with ‘kindness’)! Watch it here.

Have you watched any of these? Leave a comment or tweet me (@natashankpr) and let me know (and also if you have any recommendation of your own)! 🙂
