2008 NKPR Highlights!
To commemorate Kiehl’s commitment to raising awareness and funds for AIDS research, a ‘Kiehl’s Commitment to Community quilt‘ was created; Canadian celebrities were invited to mark their support of the ‘Fight Against AIDS’ on World AIDS Day (December 1) by dipping their hands in red ink and placing their hand print on the quilt. The quilt is being collected and sewn together by world renowned NYC fashion designer Derek Lam and auctioned off for Youth AIDS. December 1st, in all Kiehl’s freestanding stores in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, also marked the launch of a global campaign to raise funds with the sale of the Limited Edition Lip Balm#1. $1.00 from every sale of the Limited Edition Lip Balm #1 will be donated to the Canadian AIDS Society – a national coalition of over 125 community based AIDS organizations across Canada.
