The Chase

Nestled in the heart of Toronto’s historic Temperance Street, on the fifth floor of the iconic Dineen building, lies a culinary treasure: The Chase. This venue invites guests to experience a refreshed vision that brings an elevated yet uninhibited dining experience to life. The Chase redefines the art of dining with its stunning views and impeccable cuisine. Under the leadership of Executive Chef Nick Bentley and LFG’s Director of Culinary + Concept Development Cory Vitiello, the menu focuses on simplicity and quality, offering a refined, seafoodled

selection that complements the restaurant’s sophisticated setting. Highlights from the raw bar are followed by such scene-stealers as the lobster spaghetti and Oakleigh Ranch wagyu. Be sure to sit on the newly renovated patio and save room for dessert; try the sticky toffee pudding.

Flow

I recently had the pleasure of sampling Flow Water’s latest offering—sparkling mineral water in stylish 300mL aluminum bottles. Launching this fall across Canada and soon in the U.S., this new beverage collection marries sophistication with sustainability, offering tantalizing flavours that include Original, Blackberry + Hibiscus, Lemon + Ginger, and Cucumber + Mint. Each variant is crafted from premium carbonated mineral spring water, containing zero calories and zero sugar, making it a perfect blend of health, style, and environmental consciousness.

Revery Curio Collection by Hilton

Welcome to Revery, downtown Toronto’s theatrically themed 224-room hotel located at 92 Peter Street. The latest hotel by The Gupta Group, Revery is just a block from the TIFF Lightbox. Its design reflects the vibrant lights and drama of Toronto’s bustling entertainment district. The Muse Lobby Bar, with its striking ruby-red textures and white lighting, and the guest rooms, outfitted with sleek, high-gloss finishes and clever lighting, evoke a sense of glamorous dressing rooms. The experience culminates at the Deauville Club, a French-inspired restaurant where Chef Tom Chlebek’s cuisine brings unique expertise and authenticity to every dish.

Build It – Jaybird Yorkville

In 2024, BUILD IT ingeniously transformed the lower level at 110 Bloor Street into Jaybird’s flagship Yorkville location, turning architectural challenges into a serene urban retreat. As one of the city’s newest and most talked-about movement studios, it features a design that leverages warm maroon tones and integrates such natural materials as wood, stone, and cork to create a calming ambience. Particularly impressive is the bespoke millwork, crafted in BUILD IT’s state-of-the-art facility, which reflects the unique underground atmosphere of the studio, seamlessly combining functionality with soft, calming design.

Melanie Lyne

I adore Melanie Lyne’s chic evening dresses, which are perfect for every event (yes, date night, too). The line features reimagined silhouettes that blend traditional elegance with modern twists. Dresses come alive with luxurious materials and detailed craftsmanship, from statement sleeves and three dimensional florals to gracefully flowing lengths and dramatic draping. Designed for weddings, galas, and other black-tie events. You will make the perfect entrance every time.
