NKPR IT House 2024: A Star-Studded TIFF Collaboration with People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and Shutterstock
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is always a remarkable time for NKPR, and 2024 elevated this tradition to new heights.
The NKPR IT House, presented by Melanie Lyne and in collaboration with People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and Shutterstock, was a cornerstone of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) experience. Together, we transformed the Freed Developments Presentation Gallery into a dynamic hub where filmmakers, industry talent, and media came together to foster connection and collaboration during Toronto’s busiest time of year. The buzzing atmosphere showcased shared stories, meaningful partnerships, and engaging activations, all while championing and supporting two incredible organizations: Project Paws Dog Rescue and Artists for Peace and Justice.
Exclusive Portrait Studio with People, Entertainment Weekly and Shutterstock
True to the spirit of NKPR, the IT House radiated energy, purpose, and connection. It brought together incredible talent, media, and industry professionals while showcasing standout brand experiences. From the exclusive portrait studio sessions featuring filmmakers, artists, and even adorable puppies, to the inspiring conversations that spotlighted groundbreaking partnerships, every element captured the essence of community, creativity, and meaningful impact.
This year’s IT House was hosted at the Freed Hotel & Residences Adelaide and Duncan Presentation Centre, creating a vibrant hub where talent, filmmakers, media, and industry insiders could relax and recharge during the festival’s buzz.
The festivities kicked off with a dedicated media and industry day on September 5th, setting the tone for an action-packed week. From September 6th to 9th, PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly, in partnership with Shutterstock, ran an exclusive photo and video studio. This studio became the go-to destination for capturing striking portraits and videos of renowned talent and filmmakers.
Notable guests included Jennifer Lopez, Pharrell Williams, Pamela Anderson, Elizabeth Olsen, Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett, Barry Keoghan, Jennifer Coolidge, Douglas Booth, Catherine O’Hara, Lupita Nyong’o, Selena Gomez, Jude Law, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The IT House wasn’t just an event—it was a celebration of the power of storytelling, collaboration, and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who walked through its doors.
