Spreading Love Beyond Valentine’s Day: A Recap of 26 Hours of Kindness

What a tremendous week it has been! The outpouring of support for NKPR’s 26 Hours of Kindness initiative with Hashtag Lunchbag, where over 100 friends, client partners, and members of the community came together to share love, lunches, and uplifting words with those experiencing homelessness, was truly moving. Together, we were able to make 1000 sandwiches, hand-decorated lunch bags, and personalized messages of kindness and delivered them to four local organizations; Sistering, St. Felix Centre, Ve’ahavta, and Good Shepherd Ministries.

What unfolded was a beautiful testament to the inherent goodness in humanity. It serves as a reminder that each of us holds the ability to bring about positive change. A simple act of generosity can create ripples of significance for someone in need.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers who dedicated their time and efforts to make this day as successful as it was. Your kindness and compassion truly made a difference in the lives of those we reached out to.
