2025 marked a pivotal moment as Echoes from Eden moved from manuscript to a fully realized global campaign. As tech entrepreneur and environmentalist Dax Dasilva prepared to launch his second book, the opportunity extended far beyond a traditional publishing moment. Echoes from Eden follows Dax’s journey to some of the world’s most endangered ecosystems alongside leading global conservationists and features a foreword by Dr. Jane Goodall.
NKPR was tasked with shaping the creative, strategic, and communications foundation end to end for Echoes from Eden’s global book launch, ensuring that every decision — from the cover image to book tour events and routing — reflected Dax’s vision of inspiring planetary stewardship at scale.
What We Did
- Built a three phase roadmap for pre sales, launch, and post launch, anchored to Earth Day to maximize cultural relevance.
- Guided all creative direction, including cover design, photography, promotional videos, and final editorial alignment with the publisher
- Established Dax’s full author ecosystem across Amazon, Goodreads, NetGalley, and BookBub, including a Goodreads giveaway.
- Provided strategic counsel across social, partner amplification, bonus content, and digital infrastructure with DaxDasilva.com as the campaign hub.
- Led all press communication, securing interview opportunities and executing a targeted media rollout.
- Strategized and executed the North American book tour across Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, and New York including venue coordination, TIFF celebrity engagement, media lists, influencer attendance, and promotion.
- Delivered an influencer program with 40 plus aligned creators, including paid partnerships in development and bespoke gifting featuring the Age of Union macaw plush toy.
- Negotiated and delivered custom content partnerships with LA Weekly and Village Voice to boost visibility around key tour stops.
Results
- Generated over 15 million organic media impressions across leading outlets including La Presse, The Globe and Mail, Global’s The Morning Show, CP24, Pasadena Now, and more.
- Secured high impact editorial partnerships with LA Weekly and Village Voice, delivering features, email blasts, and social amplification in Los Angeles and New York.
- Delivered strong tour attendance with 98 guests in Los Angeles, 54 in Toronto, and 93 in New York including environmental leaders, creators, media, and cultural tastemakers.
- Achieved celebrity visibility during TIFF, with Echoes from Eden gifted to notable actors and industry figures such as Josh Brolin, Ethan Hawke, Dustin Hoffman, Scarlett Johansson, Stellan Skarsgard, and others.
- Activated over 40 targeted influencers, extending momentum post launch and securing early creator amplification aligned with the book’s environmental themes.
