Develop a strategic PR plan around the launch of the revitalized menu for The Civic, The Broadview Hotel’s in-house restaurant, and raise the profile of their new Executive Chef, Richard Singh to create awareness, ongoing buzz, and to secure print and digital coverage in local, consumer, travel and food & beverage media

What We Did

  • Engaged key media through one-on-one opportunities to sample the new menu and meet with Chef Richard Singh directly for interviews
  • Executed a media and influencer dinner preview where guests had the opportunity to experience the new menu and learn more about the inspiration behind the dishes from Chef Richard Singh prior to the menu’s implementation in the restaurant for the public

Results

  • Media 1:1 opportunities with Toronto Life, Bay St Bull and DailyHive, generating feature coverage for The Civic in Toronto Life and Bay St Bull to a total of 454,000 digital media impressions
  • Over 15 key media and influencers in attendance for preview dinner, including BizBash, CBC Life, The Loop, Bell Media, and more, earning 469,331 social media impressions
