EllisDon Developments x SMEG Arcadia District Partnership:


Considering two NKPR clients, we made a strategic introduction between EllisDon Developments and SMEG Canada, proposing a unique strategic partnership as a first in Canada. With this, we created an opportunity to drive sales for Arcadia District residential units, and sales for SMEG’s large appliances, while raising awareness for SMEG’s offerings beyond their signature small appliances.

What We Did

  • Conceived, proposed, and secured a partnership between EllisDon Developments and SMEG Canada where all residential suites in Arcadia District would feature SMEG appliances.
  • Developed a comprehensive PR strategy to launch the partnership with press and real estate agents.
  • Coordinated a partnership with Toronto Life for online coverage to run at the same time as the press release announcement. From there, we pitched the press release for additional media coverage.
  • Advised EllisDon Developments on a broker engagement strategy, including a sizzle reel video and eblast to real estate agents.
  • Organized an event partnership between EllisDon and SMEG for NKPR’s Festival Countdown event, strategically planned two months before Arcadia District’s sales launch. With SMEG as the title sponsor of the event, EllisDon Developments activated on site by sponsoring the candy table and creating an Arcadia District scale model entirely made of candy.
  • Integrated SMEG into all promotional events for Arcadia District leading up to launch, such as gifting limited-edition Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne SMEG Fridge Gift Boxes to real estate agents at their next event.


  • Generated buzz and excitement, supporting sales for Arcadia District at launch, and increasing awareness for SMEG’s large appliances.
  • Helped secure a major business deal for SMEG with EllisDon Developments committing to purchase multiple appliances for over 1,300 condominium units.
  • Press coverage with Toronto Life, Toronto Sun, Real Estate News Exchange, BUZZ Magazine, and much more.
