A great neighbourhood is where your home, your com A great neighbourhood is where your home, your community, and your everyday moments come together. 🖤

What makes a city feel like home is the life that surrounds you. It’s the coffee shop where they know your order, the local places that become part of your routine, the parks where memories are made, and the people who bring the community to life.

That’s what stood out to me about Motto by @Sierracommunities. Located at Bloor and Dovercourt, it’s a reflection of the energy that makes Toronto so unique, a place where creativity, culture, connection, and everyday experiences come together.

@rebecca_risen and I have been working together fo @rebecca_risen and I have been working together for 17 years. Which officially makes this the longest relationship either of us have ever had. 😂🖤

After nearly two decades we have built brands, celebrated wins and milestones, laughed through all the fun, and genuinely enjoy being around one another. 🖤

We put our relationship to the ultimate test with a rapid-fire Newlywed Game to see just how well we know each other. 👀

Happy 17th anniversary Rebecca! Thank you for your unwavering dedication, your friendship, and for always being by my side.

Things that are worth the money. I’ve been thinki Things that are worth the money.

I’ve been thinking about this trend, and I realized none of my answers are really about buying more.
They’re about investing in the things that make my everyday life better.

✨ Your space. Home should be your sanctuary. It’s where you recharge, create, think and exhale.
✨ Services that come to you. My hair appointments, nails and tailor aren’t about indulgence - they’re about buying back time. When those things are taken care of, getting ready becomes effortless.
✨ The perfect-fitting pant. When you find one, buy it in multiples. You’ll wear them constantly, and it’s one less decision to make every morning.
✨ Great people. Whether it’s building my team at @nkpr.inc or surrounding myself with talented, kind people, I’ve learned that investing in people almost always delivers the greatest return.
✨ Morton’s salmon. @mortonssteak One of my favourite meals. And I’ve finally learned how to make it at home, so this one’s becoming a little less expensive. 😊
✨ Costes candles. @hotelcostes Every time I light one, I’m transported back to Paris. Some purchases aren’t about the object …they’re about the memories and the feeling they bring.
✨ My Row flip-flops. @therow I practically live in them. Ironically, buying one pair I truly love has probably saved me money because I stopped buying shoes I rarely wore.

It’s about the things that genuinely improve my everyday life.
For me, that’s what makes something worth the money.
Because it saves time, brings joy, or simply makes life a little better.

What’s on your list? 🖤

There’s one phrase I’ve spent years questioning: w There’s one phrase I’ve spent years questioning: work-life balance.

I believe it’s one of the biggest misconceptions we’ve been sold. We’re told we should be able to do it all, give everything equal attention, and somehow make it all look effortless.

In my latest Substack, The Lie Women Keep Chasing, I share why I stopped pursuing balance long ago and why I believe work-life integration, alignment, purpose, and protecting your energy are far more meaningful goals.

I’d love to know: have you ever felt like you were chasing a version of balance that was never really possible? 🖤
