I’ve always believed that thoughtful design shapes I’ve always believed that thoughtful design shapes how we feel in a space.

In his new book, Human Architecture, @audax.ca founder and architect Gianpiero Pugliese explores what makes certain spaces move us, and why their beauty endures.

With a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in architecture from UC Berkeley, Gianpiero brings a deep understanding of architectural history to his contemporary practice. His philosophy draws on the enduring lessons of the past to create spaces that feel relevant today and will remain meaningful for generations.

Through principles such as symmetry, proportion and materiality, he explores how our response to architecture is rooted in human perception, nature and the qualities that have drawn us to beautiful spaces for centuries.

Having worked with Gianpiero and the Audax team for the past three years, I’ve seen the care, conviction and creative vision behind their work. One of my favourite projects in Toronto, 1 Marlborough in Rosedale, beautifully expresses this philosophy, bringing the historic Pierce-Arrow building into a new chapter through architecture and interior design that honour its heritage while looking ahead.

It’s wonderful to see his lifelong dedication to architecture, design and the human experience brought together in such a beautiful book.

Published by @teneuespublishing, Human Architecture was released in Europe on October 20, with its North American release coming in January 2027. Preorders are available through Indigo and Amazon via the Audax website.

Congratulations to Gianpiero and the entire @audax.ca team on this exciting milestone! 🖤

Some artists challenge the way we see the world. @ Some artists challenge the way we see the world. @ranbirsidhuart invites us to imagine what else is possible. 🖤

I’ve known Ranbir for years, and it’s incredibly special to see his vision, ambition and creativity come to life at @agotoronto with No Limits, his first solo museum exhibition.

His work brings together Sikh history, cultural memory, spirituality and futurism in a way that feels entirely his own. His fascination with metal is central to that vision, pushing steel, aluminum and gold into extraordinary forms that expand our sense of what these materials can become. The scale draws you in. The ideas behind each piece, and the questions they leave you with, stay with you.

The @nkpr.inc team and I are honoured to be working with Ranbir. Walking through No Limits with him and hearing the stories behind the work made the experience even more meaningful. There is something powerful about seeing an artist pursue an idea with such conviction—and the precision to bring it to life.

Rooted in his heritage and expansive in its imagination, Ranbir’s work speaks across cultures and borders. It’s a vision we’re excited to help share with the world.

No Limits is now on view at the AGO.

I’m excited to share more of my conversation with I’m excited to share more of my conversation with Kate and Kiara LeBlanc and the vision behind @lifted.movement. After building @sajewellness into one of North America’s most recognized wellness brands, they’re bringing that same expertise and passion into an exciting new chapter. 🖤

In the second part of our conversation, Kiara shares such a thoughtful observation about how much of our homes are designed around being sedentary. We put so much consideration into how we’ll eat, work and relax. What if our surroundings also encouraged us to move?

That idea is at the heart of Lifted. From the Movement Cart to the sculptural Arc, their pieces bring weights into our living spaces in a way that feels as considered as the furniture around them. Keeping movement visible keeps it top of mind, making it easier to pick up a weight and incorporate exercise throughout the day.

For me, that’s what makes Lifted so compelling. Their beautifully designed fitness equipment complements the home while encouraging us to move more. It’s made exercise a more consistent part of my own day, which is exactly what Kate and Kiara set out to achieve. 👏🏻✨

Having worked with them during their years at Saje, being part of this next chapter as an investor and friend is especially meaningful. I’m proud to support a vision I believe in, and have experienced in my own home.

Kate and Kiara, your commitment to wellness continues to inspire me. I’m so excited for what’s ahead for Lifted Movement! 🖤

We’re officially in Mercury retrograde. October 24 We’re officially in Mercury retrograde. October 24 to November 13. And if you’re anything like me, you might be holding your breath a little. 🖤

I’ve always been fascinated by astrology, numerology, intuition and the idea that there may be more to life than what we can see or explain.

I’m also someone who pays attention to signs, repeating numbers and timing. For me, the number 26 has always held a special significance. My son was born on June 26, and Eric and I first connected on December 26. It’s a number that continues to appear in my life. Coincidence? Maybe. But I like to believe there’s something more to it.

This particular Mercury retrograde is astrologically associated with reflection, resetting and revisiting unresolved emotions. And while I can’t say for certain whether the planets influence our behaviour, I do believe these periods offer an opportunity to slow down and become more intentional about our decisions.

As I wrote in my latest NK Confidential Substack:
“You can be honest without being harsh. You can disagree without being disrespectful. And you can be hurt without choosing to hurt someone else.” Because so much of how we experience life comes down to perspective.

“The glass can be half empty or half full. Both perspectives acknowledge the same amount of water. The difference is what you choose to focus on.”

With that in mind, I’m sharing five books that explore everything from astrology and numerology to birthdays, personality types and the Enneagram. Do I believe everything I read? Not necessarily. But I do believe there’s value in anything that encourages us to better understand ourselves and the patterns in our lives.

My latest NK Confidential Substack, Mercury Retrograde and the Art of Not Overreacting, explores three things I try to be especially mindful of during these periods.

I’m curious, how are you feeling through this Mercury retrograde? Have you noticed any shifts in your emotions, relationships or perspective?

Happy Saturday, friends!
