About NKPR
NKPR is an integrated PR, marketing, and digital agency headquartered in Toronto with a global reach. We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media and Content Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead the creation and management of content across NKPR’s digital platforms, collaborating with our PR teams to bring brand stories to life and drive the overall marketing objectives of the NKPR brand.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute content calendars for NKPR’s owned channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, website, blog, newsletters, etc.)

Write clear, engaging, and brand-appropriate copy tailored to each platform

Create compelling multimedia content (graphics, videos, written posts) with a strong eye for design and storytelling

Manage real-time posting, monitoring, and community engagement (comments, DMs, mentions)

Drive audience growth and engagement across all social channels

Lead the execution of social media and newsletter campaigns, paid programs, promotions, and strategic partnerships

Research, recommend, and implement innovative strategies to stay ahead of social media and digital trends
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in social media copywriting and content creation for editorial or brand accounts

Background in Editorial, PR, or Marketing preferred

Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and brand objectives

Highly creative thinker with proven ability to turn concepts into compelling content and campaigns

Proficient in design and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)

In-depth knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, engagement strategies, and platform best practices

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Collaborative team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-
Familiarity with Toronto’s event, marketing, and PR landscape is an asset
