A super launch for a supermodel!

Last night was the launch event for the new Monika Schnarre Eyewear Collection from Optiq. It was held at The Spoke Club in downtown Toronto and the space was packed with loads of people—media, bloggers, friends. It was so much fun because we all got to try on the glasses, and everyone was live-Tweeting about it and sharing their photos! Monika and Optiq President Joe Nadler spoke to the crowd and then they showed us a behind-the-scenes video of the making of the new ad campaign. Monika looked beautiful (of course) and was such a gracious and fun hostess! The collection was a big hit with all the guests — there are so many amazing styles so everyone found the perfect pair.

And the food! There was a candy table full of sweets and mini cupcakes in the colours of the Collection (brown and pink), and bright pink cocktails called “The Monika.” How great is that? I didn’t bring any treats back to share with you (sorry!) so check out these sweet photos instead:
