Comfort food that’s good for me?

November 12, 2010, 6:59 pm

This time of year, I’m drawn to comfort foods, things that make me think warm thoughts! Too often, that means lunches and dinners that are less than healthy. I was talking about this the other day — okay maybe I was complaining just a bit — then one of my staff reminded me about all the great recipe ideas that we have around the office thanks to At My Best.

At My Best is a health and wellness program for children developed by AstraZeneca Canada and Physical & Health Education Canada. But they have tons of ideas that adults can use, too, like healthy recipes that are perfect for this time of year. Here’s one that I’m going to try: Fruit and Nut Couscous with Warm Chicken and Lemon-Cinnamon Dressing. It’s from celebrity chef Anthony Sedlak and it only takes 10 minutes to make! For the recipe, just click here.

If you try it, tweet me about it. And if you have any other suggestions for quick and easy fall recipes, tweet me about those, too!
