Helping Canadian Children Break the Cycle of Poverty

April 6, 2009, 7:19 pm

It’s hard to believe, but 1.2 million children in Canada live below the poverty line. Shoe apparel and accessory company Brooks is helping to break this cycle; they’re teaming up with Running Room Canada to donate one pair of children’s shoes to Kidsfest Running and Reading Club – an after school program that improves children’s physical fitness and literacy.

Here’s how you can help!

How: Spend $150 on Brooks merchandise and help them support the Kidsfest Running and Reading Club

When: The entire month of April ’09

Where: Running Room locations across Canada.
