Have you walked down Bloor Street lately, in the Bloor-Yorkville area of Toronto? Doesn’t it look amazing? If you’re as happy as I am to see Bloor looking so beautiful and SO green, mark June 19 on your calendar! This is the date for “Celebrate Bloor,” an event marking the completion of the Bloor Street Transformation Project — the two-year beautification of Toronto’s fashion mile.
This is truly a one-of-a-kind event. I mean, how often do you get to see a red carpet rolled down Bloor Street? No, really. This is actually happening!
From 11 am – 4 pm, Bloor will be closed to vehicles from Avenue Road to Church Street to accommodate a one-kilometer red carpet and all kinds of amazing attractions, including tasting pavilions, the Yorkville Exotic Car Show, a concert stage (featuring Platinum Blonde, Shawn Desman, Keshia Chanté and Royal Wood), a celebrity interview stage, in-store promotions and the official opening ceremony.

I’ll see you on Bloor Street on June 19!
